Join us for an informative session about the emerging business of plugging orphan wells and how carbon credits can be earned and validated for use in the voluntary carbon market. Staci Taruscio, a petroleum engineer with 20 years experience who founded Rebellion Energy will discuss how her company is plugging orphan wells and the methodology for calculating earned carbon credits, as well as the business model. Corinne Boone, AirCarbon Exchange, a carbon market pioneer, is an expert in carbon finance and ESG. She will discuss how carbon credits enter markets, how they are evaluated for their quality, and then bought and sold, and where the markets are.
